An acoustic guitar lesson of my interpretation of the classic John Lennon song – Imagine (suitable for beginners if you substitute the F barre chord for an open F chord). Loads more free lessons can be found at Guitar Tutor Man’s official website: guitar.freemovies.co.uk

Thanks for your video! It helps me a lot!
I’m Taiwanese, so don’t understand too much English.
Hope you know what I’m saying.
And… my grammar isn’t wrong, right?

    Hi
Thanks for your positive feedback, I have always learned by example so that was the way I felt most natural to teach. I am so glad my videos work for you.
Best wishes with your playing and for 2013.
    Alan :)

P.S- I also like seeing all the chords first and pausing there, as I have never known the names of some of them. (Actually, I don’t even know the names of the strings, but have never had to! Started off with piano) Thanks again from Toronto-girl-on-crutches-and bored.

The way you play it through first and show the chords while playing is perfect. Other tutorials the fellows talk, “First finger on 2nd fret of the e string..blah, blah..”)

I learned by listening to records (yes LP’s) and if I was lucky someone like you was around to watch. I really like the tone of your voice, and you are the only one who sings as far as I know. It really helps with the timing (and you don’t spend forever on saying “down, down, up, up, down, up…ugh!) Thanks from Toronto.
