I’m trying to figure out the name of a certain song. It has a really awesome acoustic solo at the end with chorus singing in the background. I’ve heard on the radio a few times, but they never say the name of the damn song. Anyone know what I’m talking about?

I’m 30 and started playing guitar at 25, and like laxboard00 answerded to you, you’ll never be too old to begin! If you like this instrument, you’ll work hard at the beginning (with some finger pains!!) and in a few month, i promise you that you’ll have fun more and more!

You could play tab if you don’t know how to read sheet music it’s much easier and less time consuming than learning to read sheet music and labeling the notes and blah blah blah and then take some lessons on techniques such and bending strings, hammer on’s, and pull offs. And then go from there

Well, three songs when I started writing. There were quite a few more as it continued that I didn’t know. Some out of age group or interest. But you get the point.

  • okinny1 10 years ago

First, don’t be silly. I started playing @ 42. There are three songs played here that I don’t know because I hadn’t thought of learning them. You are never too old. Played for some kids about four years ago and ended up playing half the night for the adults around a campfire. I was 47. Play. Just play. Age has nothing to do with it. And look to Marty online. Great teacher.
