Play that with an open 4th string and you have a D7 chord.

I got my first chord right from this vid! I’ve been having so much trouble, cause every time I’ve tried playing a chord, at least one string would sound cheap-metal-like… but these chords turned out perfectly, thanks to this great instructor.

  • Colton Embury 10 years ago

its normal. You will start to get callauses (sorry not sure how to spell that word) and your fingertips will get stronger and you will start to not feel it as much.

  • imani anslow 10 years ago

hey uhm…. ima sound like a noob saying this but… when i place my fingers for the chords it leaves an indent in my fingers that gets iritating after a bit…. is that normal or am i just stupid and doing something wrong???
